I know this sucks, my friends
I’m on the way home again I’m lost without your scent  I dunno when we’ll meet again  I know this sucks, my friends I’m on the way home again I’m lost without your scent  I dunno when we’ll meet again That’s all Ive seen Dancing on silent screens Heart’s always on your sleeve  I sing as you repeat  “So long to those nights dancing”
I know this sucks, my friends I'm on the way home again
Another night At home again The soft blue light  Numbs the loneliness Here we go again
I know this sucks, my friends I’m on the way home again I’m lost without your scent  I dunno when we’ll meet again I know this sucks, my friends I’m on the way home again I’m lost without your scent  I dunno when we’ll meet again  That’s all I've seen Dancing on silent screens Heart’s always on your sleeve  I sing as you repeat  “So long to those nights dancing”

The Signal 03:51
While you hold on All the leaves fall off
(I need) That signal  I need the right song (now)
(I see) There’s no tomorrow now To sing to us tonight
 Just say you tried

If you really have to know  No the answer has not changed  It’s not what you had hoped For me to choose
So hard to understate The disappointment on your face  Should I resign to my fate Before it starts to drive me insane  Now
Let’s take our lives back now
Let’s all become what we dreamed we were
Is it yes or no? It’s not the world you’re carrying  Should I resign to my fate Before it starts to drive me insane Now
Let’s take our lives back now
Let’s all become what we dreamed we were
Can’t soothe  Can’t resolve Can’t soothe Can’t resolve   Let’s take our lives back now

Everyone seems to Now you wanna care Everyone seems to Now you wanna care  Nothing makes sense in Your nightmare No one can save you  No one will save me    I see you’re still awake  I can’t sleep no more You better take Me back home
Everyone seems to Now you wanna care Everyone seems to Now you wanna care  Nothing makes sense in Your nightmare No one can save you  No one will save me
 No one will save me

Everyone seems to Now you wanna care Everyone seems to Now you wanna care  Nothing makes sense in Your nightmare No one can save you  No one will save me
Everyone seems to Now you wanna care Everyone seems to Now you wanna care  Nothing makes sense in Your nightmare No one can save you  No one will save me

about

A barrier is a circumstance or obstacle that keeps people or things apart or prevents communication or progress. A barrier is also used to protect those inside of it from the forces at play beyond the barrier’s borders. This was a concept that Matt Weiner aka TWINS could not get out of his head as he wrote and recorded these songs during the first 4 weeks of the pandemic and self-isolation - easily the greatest barrier that the world has collectively dealt with in his lifetime. In his own words Matt says, "I was determined to keep a shred of sanity intact by losing myself thoroughly in the process of making these songs and taking advantage of the unprecedented amount of free time I found myself with to try and take my craft to new heights. The songs on this EP deal with every thing from dependency on screen time, to people who never had to question their behavior until they could no longer ignore it, to seizing this unique moment of crushed paradigms to build a new world from the ashes that allows everyone to live their lives the way they’d always envisioned for themselves."
